We offer a variety of services to waterfront property owners and fellow contractors, making their lives more enjoyable, and opening up new opportunities.
Problem: How do I get down to the water?
We build trams, stairs and winding garden pathways, enabling those with even the steepest lots to easily access their waterfront.
Problem: How do I keep my shoreline from eroding away?
We protect shoreline the easy way, with rip-rap placed by barge. When contractors try to place rip-rap from higher on the shoreline, they are constrained by several limiting factors. Trees must be cut (and therefore re-planted.) The rock has to be dumped at the top of the hill, and ferried down to the water. The slope can’t be too steep, or the equipment may end up in the lake, especially if it has rained in the last several days. Do you already have nice grass and maybe a sprinkler system? `Better plan on extra landscaping costs.
In contrast, doing rip-rap from the lake avoids these issues. The rock is loaded elsewhere, few trees are cut, steep slope is not an issue, and your perfect lawn stays perfect. Nice.
Problem: My lake has lots of debris floating around every time they raise the lake level!
We clean up major floating debris on Leesville Lake under contract with the Leesville Lake Association. We are uniquely suited for this task, having a barge with ramps and an amphibious dragline crane. Where contractors with traditional cranes fixed on their barges would need to wait for extreme high water to off-load their “catch,” we can simply drive the crane off the barge, through the mud, and up on shore to unload on higher ground. We can even operate the crane and barge independently.
Problem: I need to move heavy equipment down the lake or to an island.
We can carry 60 tons of cargo at present, and have plans to expand that capability to 80 tons. Open your eyes to expanding horizons...
